Gorgeous transformation of "discarded stone"

(Summary description)What can discarded stones do? In the hands of Wang Xiangrong, an artist from our county and the master of Chinese stone carving art, they have been transformed into exquisite works of art. Recently, "'Possibility' Is Creativity Shining in Desire-Wang Xiangrong's "Abandoned Stone" Material Works Exhibition" was launched in Dingli Art Museum. This time, more than 30 pieces of “discarded stone” material works created by Wang Xiangrong during 2019 are on display, which are divided into 4 series, including Natural Architecture, Geometric Space, Furniture Space, and Ten Signs. The works may express the boundary between the introversion and the extroversion of the space in the form of architecture; or use the power of minimalist geometry to construct enclosed and enclosed spaces; or use minimalist language to set up objects in the space; or In the virtual reality, life, life inner inspires revelation, symbolism and metaphor...     Part of Wang Xiangrong's works displayed      "It seems useless, it's a pity to discard it." On weekdays, Wang Xiangrong often saw many waste stones scattered randomly in workshops, storage yards, and roadsides, and couldn't help but sigh. Therefore, he consciously chooses discarded stone materials for his creations, gradually becoming more casual and conceptual in content and form, and expressing more freely. In 2011 and 2012, he took part in 2 joint exhibitions of abandoned stone works.       This is the first solo exhibition of "Abandoned Stones" launched by Wang Xiangrong after 7 years of precipitation and exploration. He uses discarded stones, glass, mirrors, rhombus mirrors and other materials to combine time, space, function, illusion, situation, etc. into his own defined concepts to form an abstract and minimal art. "This is the first time that I have systematically used the element of light. I hope to borrow media such as light and color to resonate between the work and the audience." Wang Xiangrong said that he hopes that through this creation, more sculptors can benefit from the creation.
