(Summary description) On December 26, 2009, the 116th birthday of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founding leader of New China. Approved by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a 32-meter-high, 83-meter-long, 41-meter-wide base, with a base of 3,500 square meters, is spliced by more than 8,000 Yongding red granites collected from high mountains in Fujian. The largest memorial statue of a great man in China today-Mao Zedong's Youth Art Sculpture was erected in Juzizhou, Changsha, Hunan. The sculpture is based on the image of Mao Zedong in his youth in 1925 as the artistic prototype, highlighting the great ambitious and prosperous spirit of the great man in his youth. It was created by Liming, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, designed by Hunan Provincial Institute of Architectural Design, and Huian stone carver participated in the sculpture.
