9 meters deep below the base of the Yandi Shennong stone statue is a concrete reinforced box foundation. The height from the base to the top of the Yandi statue is 45.87 meters. It is composed of a steel structure inner membrane layer, a reinforced cement layer and marble materials. The outer layer of marble was transported long-distance from Hui'an, Fujian, sharing 1301 pieces, totaling more than 2,000 tons. The construction fund of the Yandi Shennong stone statue was 50 million yuan, and the Hubei Province Yandi Shennong Hometown Construction Foundation raised funds for the descendants of Yan and Huang at home and abroad.
